General terms and conditions

1. Validity and application of current Terms

1. The General Conditions are valid between the buyer of goods in the online store https://jrscrapstudio.com (hereinafter referred to as the Client) and the owner of https://jrscrapstudio.com represented by JR Scrap Studio OÜ (hereinafter referred to as JR Scrap Studio) to establish the procedure and rules for the purchase and sale, as well as resolving issues related to the legal obligations of both parties.
2. In addition to these Terms, all relations between JR Scrap Studio and the Client are governed by the current laws of the Republic of Estonia.

2. Protection of personal data

1. JR Scrap Studio processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and other data protection laws.

3. Your profile on the site

1. When visiting the site you can register your profile on it. To do this, you need to provide your personal data and use one of the suggested authentication tools.

4. Prices

1. The prices in the online shop are in euros (EUR).
2. Delivery charges may be added to prices according to the delivery method chosen at checkout or another agreed delivery method.
3. JR Scrap Studio reserves the right to change prices at any time and without notice. If the Client has made an order before the price changes take effect, the invoice price is valid for that Client at the time of ordering.

5. Ordering

1. Select the product you want to purchase from the online store and add it to your cart.
2. By opening your cart, you have the opportunity to adjust the order by changing or deleting the quantity of goods.
3. If everything suits you, click on the "Go to the payment" button.
4. The client has the opportunity to choose the method of payment and delivery.
5. When ordering, you must fill in all fields marked with * (asterisk).

6. Checkout

1. To pay for the order, the Client can choose the appropriate payment method for himself: 
1. Bank link
2. Credit/debit cards
3. PayPal.
2. Payment processing is provided by the payment platforms Stripe, Montonio, PayPal. The personal data required to make payments are transferred to the owner of the platform.
3. JR Scrap Studio does not store your payment card details or other payment information.
4. The purchase is considered completed from the moment of payment for the order in the JR Scrap Studio online store.

7. Order processing time

1. The order processing time is 1-3 working days if the goods are in stock in Estonia. During discount campaigns, the processing time may increase, but not more than 5 days.

8. Delivery

1. The delivery fee depends on the delivery service provider you choose and the type of delivery.
2. You can find more information about the delivery of goods, in the "Delivery and Payment" section.
3. The following delivery methods are available: Omniva parcel machine, DPD parcel machine, delivery by DPD courier, pick up the goods yourself.
4. Delivery of goods is carried out on the territory of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
5. Delivery to other countries of the world is carried out by prior arrangement. To do this, contact us by e-mail info@jrscrapstudio.com
6. Delivery to a parcel machine in Estonia is free of charge for orders over 50.00 euros, in Latvia and Lithuania - over 135.00 euros.
7. Delivery by courier to a specific address is a paid service, regardless of the purchase amount.
8. Choosing the «I'll take it myself» option as the delivery method, you can pick up your goods at Gagarini 15, Sillamäe, Estonia. This method of delivery is only carried out by prior agreement of time. To receive the goods, please present the invoice from our online store https://jrscrapstudio.com
9. The Client is obliged to check the completeness and correctness of all the data provided by him when placing an order in order to avoid delays and uncertainties in the delivery of the order. JR Scrap Studio is not responsible for the delay in delivery of the goods if it is caused by inaccurate, incomplete or incorrect data provided by the Client when placing an order.

9. The right of withdrawal and return

1. According to applicable consumer protection legislation the Client has the right to withdraw from the completed purchase within 14 days from the date of delivery of the order to the Client.
2. An application for cancellation of the order and return of the goods shall be accepted in writing by e-mail info@jrscrapstudio.com within the specified period (14 days). In the application we recommend the Client to specify the reason for the return.
3. In case of withdrawal from the transaction, the Client is obliged to return the purchased goods within 14 days from the day of notification to JR Scrap Studio of his wish to return the goods. The Client shall pay all expenses related to the return of the goods up to 10 € (10 euros) except in cases of returning the goods with defects or if the goods do not correspond to the order.
4. After receiving the goods back, JR Scrap Studio undertakes to return to the Client all the money paid for the goods, including the costs paid by the Client for the delivery of the goods, to the same current account from which the payment for the goods was made, within 14 days.
5. The returned goods must be unused, in the original package and complete set. If the package was damaged during the inspection of the purchased goods, the Client still has a 14-day right to refuse, but JR Scrap Studio has the right to demand compensation from the Client for the decrease in the value of the goods.
6. When returning an item, delivery charges at checkout will not be refunded.

10. Procedure for submitting a complaint

1. The Client has the right to submit claims within 2 (two) years from the moment of receipt of the goods.
2. If a product is found to be defective, the Client undertakes to notify JR Scrap Studio of the problem in an appropriate application by e-mail info@jrscrapstudio.com and provide the following information: Client's name and contact details; information about the defect (where and when the defect was discovered or occurred, if possible, photographs where the defect of the goods is clearly visible); invoice/order number. The corresponding application must be submitted no later than 2 months from the date of discovery of the defect. If this deadline is not met without a good reason, the Client shall not be entitled to require JR Scrap Studio to replace the required part or repair the product free of charge.
3. JR Scrap Studio is not responsible for:
1. damage caused by fault or negligence of the Client;
2. damage or deterioration of the goods caused by violation of the rules or conditions for the operation of the goods by the Client;
3. natural wear and tear of the product during normal use;
4. shortcomings due to the irregular use of the product;
5. damage caused to goods that are sensitive to frost during transportation in freezing weather.
4. In case of detection of defects in the product, the Client has the right to demand from JR Scrap Studio their elimination (by repair or replacement with similar and without defects). In case if JR Scrap Studio cannot fix the defect or replace the goods, the Client has the right to refuse the purchase and to demand the return of the paid money in accordance with the current legislation.

11. Dispute resolution

1. Disputes and disagreements between the Client and JR Scrap Studio are resolved through inter-party negotiations. If the differences cannot be resolved by compromise, each party has the right to defend its rights in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Estonia (by contacting the Consumer Protection Department or the Tallinn City Court).

12. General provisions

1. These Terms and Conditions are a full contract between the Client and JR Scrap Studio regarding the use of this site and its content.
2. JR Scrap Studio has the right to amend and clarify the terms at any time by publishing the relevant changes on the site and indicating the date of the latest changes. Any changes made to these Terms and Conditions shall take effect immediately upon publication. If you continue to use the site after such changes, it means that you agree to all changes.

13. Liability and force majeure circumstances

1. JR Scrap Studio and the Client shall be liable to each other for the damage caused to the other party as a result of the violation of the above Terms and Conditions in the manner and in the amount prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.
2. JR Scrap Studio shall not be liable to the Client for non-fulfillment of its obligations (damage and delay in delivery of goods) and the resulting damage, if this was caused by circumstances that JR Scrap Studio could not foresee or over which it could not influence (i.e., the action of force majeure).
